We bring you another preview piece from the upcoming Kokeshi 2009 show at the Japan American National Museum in Los Angeles on July 11, 2009.  This time from fan favorite Lou Pimentel.  Entitled “Yori”, Yori the samurai ape, his purpose is to serve and protect the public.  Oil paint on wooden kokeshi figure.
