DKE Toys and AdFunture present the Custom Yoka Show.

AdFunture provided their 3” blank Yoka panda bear vinyl figures and DKE Toys co-founders Dov Kelemer and Sarah Jo Marks found over 200 artists to participate in the Custom Yoka Show.  Featuring work from 20 countries the show turns the quirky little panda into everything from a dirty thug to a sweet snail in this tremendous exhibition.  Pieces range from $25 to $800 and will be available for purchase through Black Maria Gallery.

Upcoming – ‘St. Valentine’s Day Massacre’ custom by Plaseebo

The Saint Valentines Day Massacre Celebration Skulloctopus will be available this Friday 2/12 from the Plaseebo web store http://plaseebo.net/ . This is an Ultra Limited edition of just 10 pieces, for $110. This SVDC Skulloctopus is a clear vinyl figure made in Japan, with a custom blood wash over glow in the dark paint, plastic eye inserts, an externally switched internal color changing LED unit and brain inserts visible in the see-through area of the head. Hand painted, numbered and signed by Bob.

Recap – ‘When Hell Freezes Over’ @ myplasticheart

Last Friday at myplasticheart was the custom Cranston show by Cranston creator Lou Pimentel.  Inviting over a dozen artists to work on his Cranston resin figure.  The artists had broken out all their creative efforts in creating their designs.  Plenty of amazing customs were on display at the show.  The remaining customs that did not sell at the show are now available for purchase on the myplasticheart website here.  There aren’t that many left, so get one of your favorite customs while you can.  The exhibition runs through January 30th. Plaseebo Custom for ‘It Came From Skullbrain 2′ @ Super7

Plaseebo is pleased to have a new custom in the “It Came From Skullbrain 2″ show at Super 7 in San Francisco, opening January 16th.

This is a one of a kind custom by Bob Conge titled “Wuu Tank” and was inspired by the great Japanese Kaiju tanks. It is 7 inches long by 5 inches high and is built of vinyl and plastic, with a battery operated LED unit that illuminates the red glass eyes when switched on.  Numbered 1 of 1 and signed.

Two Fridays ago, NEMO and Tenacious Toys teamed up together for a custom Rollie show in Queens, NY.  The theme?  Low cost custom vinyl artwork using 99 cent Rollie deoderant applicators.  Alot of great looking customs were on display at the event.  They are now available at the Tenacious Toys website here.
