In a few hours, Shawnimals will be releasing his next Ninja of the Month plush, in the form the the Yeti Ninja!
“We are super excited for the release of the second of 12 all-new Ninjas made for Ninja of the Month! The Yeti Ninja is a force to be reckoned with, and yet is terribly lonely. He wouldn’t admit that of course. He needs to keep his monster cred in mind after all.
From the tag:
This lonely, misunderstood beast of a Ninja lives in the snowiest, most remote parts of the Feroshi Mountains, without a soul nearby. Except for his BFF snowman pal named Rawr. That he made. With his own paws. It’s a little creepy, sure, but mostly sad.
Motto:
“Rawr… rawr, rawr… RAWR!”
When you order this product you get…
- A handmade 7″ × 7″ plush Ninja limited to 100 pcs.
- Signed and numbered fancy hang tag
- Fun accessories – His snowman sidekick named Rawr
- A character sticker
- A character button
You can purchase more Ninja of the Month merchandise like stickers, buttons, a poster and more, including a full SUBSCRIPTION, right over here.”

Coming to the Art Star Gallery this weekend is ‘Sea Party’, featuring a group plush show with artists Heidi Kenney, Jenny Harada and Spooky Daddy.
Strange creatures and cute fishies have gathered in the face of adversity to celebrate their differences and enjoy peace and party side by side to welcome a brand new year of fuzzy hope and cuddly prosperity. The giant squid and sperm whale have even pledged their love to one another. The food chain will always be strong, so do not be fooled. Big fish may decide to eat little fish at any time. Sea creatures of many sizes and materials will be at the Sea Party, so who knows what will happen!
Gallery Opening, Saturday January 9th from 5 – 9pm. Exhibition runs through February 14th

Enter the lodge and discover creatures you never new existed. Big game Baku, small game jackalope and a number of other ridiculous critters grace the trophy room’s walls. It’s Lana Crook’s new show, Trophy. Put down your musket, no animals have been harmed (or even taunted) in the making of this show. This solo exhibit features Lana’s new hand-made and one-of-a-kind sculptural plush works.
Lana Crooks, a self proclaimed “plushinator”, creates illustrative works with fabric. Most of her pieces hang on the wall, fixed in place, while others are free standing (or sitting) sculptural objects. One will still see some of Lana’s signature cephalopods but will also be exposed to a bevy of new creatures. Her new pieces have been inspired by folklore and a little twisted reality. Come by the gallery and warm yourself by the plush fire.
Opening reception Saturday September 26th from 6 to 10pm. Exhibition runs through October 20th.

That silly Blubba ran aground on the rocky coast of Kicky Village, and now Professor Fliggins has to find a way to help him! Will this elusive, mysterious Kicky be the key to saving Blubba? Only time will tell…
Kane, the Stealth Kicky has many hidden abilities, and even more intriguing: He was raised by Ninjas! His hood is also removable revealing… A MOUTH!
From his tag:
“This Ninja-raised Kicky gets the best of both worlds: a more robust cache of magical Kicks, but does not have to worry about the latest sleeve-fashions.”
Like all Fliggins’ Discoveries, there are 100 pieces of this plush available. It’s handmade, and measures just over 8″ × 8″ × 3″.

Technically you don’t know this yet, but Professor Fliggins will finally make his way off of the Isle of Detached Shawnimals, and venture out to sea (The Big Blue). Soon after setting sail – yes SAIL – he runs into this blubbery fellow…
Sunburnt Blubba is a whale of a jolly old soul, that knows a lot about the world of Shawnimals, and will hopefully steer Professor Fliggins in the right direction… literally! Read Professor Fliggins’ Journal to find out!
From his tag:
“This semi-crispy babbling body of blubber floats around the open Blue sharing his vast knowledge of all things with anyone or anything within ear shot. Zzz…”
Like all Fliggins’ Discoveries, there are 100 pieces of this plush available. It’s handmade, and being the largest plush in the series thus far fills the Discovery box at 10″ x 8″ x 3″.
It will be released on the Shawnimals online store later today at 12pm EST for $40. Don’t miss it!

Here’s the teaser image for the next Fliggin’s Discovery by Shawnimals. This one is tough, could be a hand reaching over or a balding plush (does that exist?) either way it’ll be fun.
